On November 3, the House passed a $14.3 billion Republican-led aid package to Israel. The bill passed 226-196, with 12 Democrats voting for it and two Republicans voting against. It faces little chance of becoming law, however, with Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) saying he won't take it up and the White House threatening to veto it.

On October 10, Brooke Hamilton, president and CEO of NPI Corp., and incoming first vice chair of the PRINTING United Alliance board of directors, provided US Senator Markwayne Mullin (R-OK) with a facility tour to highlight the value of print in Tulsa, Oklahoma and beyond. Accompanying Hamilton on the tour was Alliance lobbyist Julie Philp with ACG Advocacy, and Lisbeth Lyons Black, director of the Women in Print Alliance (WPA).
