California’s COVID-19 Emergency Temporary Standard (ETS) that has been in place for several years and has evolved as more was learned about COVID-19 is set to expire on December 31. Consequently, the Cal/OSHA Standards Board has announced that a new proposed Non-Emergency Regulation, revised in October, will be approved at the next Cal/OSHA Board meeting on December 15, 2022.

The federal Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) has issued a new poster about workplace discrimination that must be hung in all workplaces with 15 or more employees. This new “Know Your Rights: Workplace Discrimination is Illegal” poster replaces the former “EEO is the Law” discrimination poster that was previously required.
