    Roland DGA Corporation announces that the new VersaSTUDIO BY-20 has received a Buyers Lab (BLI) 2024 Pick Award from Keypoint Intelligence for Outstanding Desktop DTF Printer. It is the first desktop direct-to-film (DTF) printer to earn this award. Keypoint Intelligence is an independent provider of testing and analysis for the document imaging industry and has been evaluating equipment for business users for more than 60 years. Test reports released are regarded as an unbiased resource used by many companies and public organizations when selecting hardware devices.

McEntarfer on January 11, 2024, to serve as Commissioner of the U.S. Department of Labor (DOL), Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS), for a term of four years. This announcement is meaningful to PRINTING United Alliance because it provides an opportunity for the Alliance to further advocate updates to the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) codes for printing and related services.

  • House Approved Tax Package Heads to Senate

    On January 31, 2024, the House voted 357 to 70 to approve H.R. 7024, the Tax Relief for American Families and Workers Act of 2024, a bipartisan tax framework crafted by House Ways and Means Chair Jason Smith (R-MO) and Senate Finance Chair Ron Wyden (D-OR). H.R. 7024 has enjoyed widespread support and was earlier approved 40 to 3 by the Ways and Means Committee.

  • GovInfo Earns New Certification for Digital Trustworthiness

    WASHINGTON – The U.S. Government Publishing Office’s (GPO) GovInfo, the one-stop site for authentic, published information for all three branches of the Federal Government, has earned a CoreTrustSeal certification for the first time. This certification provides data producers assurance that their materials are stored in a reliable manner and to the public that digital materials are authentic and trustworthy. By participating in the CoreTrustSeal process, GPO team members will serve as reviewers for other organizations trying to achieve CoreTrustSeal certifications.

    On October 27, 2023, the California Office of Environmental Health Hazard Assessment (OEHHA) issued a Notice of Proposed Rule Making to amend the Safe Drinking Water and Toxic Enforcement Act of 1986, better known as Prop-65. Prop-65 requires businesses to provide a “clear and reasonable” warning on products that contain chemicals exceeding an established safe harbor level and have been deemed to cause cancer or reproductive toxicity by the state.
