Job Summary
This is an exciting, fully remote opportunity to join the fastest-growing association certification team in the printing industry. The Account Services Manager – Certifications is responsible for driving net-new revenue growth while managing the end-to-end customer experience for the Alliance’s System Certifications and Master Facility Certifications programs. In this role, you’ll work directly with printers and suppliers across a wide range of markets—commercial printing, packaging, labels, wide format, apparel decoration, and more—making every day genuinely varied and engaging.
This role serves as the primary point of contact for OEMs and printers throughout the certification process, coordinating internally and externally to ensure timely execution, clear communication, and a high-quality customer experience.
The Account Services Manager owns both the business and operational aspects of these certification programs, balancing proactive sales and business development activities with responsive, professional customer service. This is a manager-level individual contributor role that reports to the SVP, Member Services, and works closely with Marketing and internal program stakeholders.
Responsibilities & Duties
Revenue Growth & Business Development (70%)
Drive net-new sales for System Certifications and Master Facility Certifications
Identify and pursue new certification opportunities with OEMs and printers
Manage a high-volume pipeline of prospective and active certification accounts
Follow up on inbound leads and collaborate with Marketing on campaigns and outreach
Position certifications as part of a broader standards and quality strategy
Track opportunities, status, and outcomes to support business reporting and planning
Account & Certification Order Management (30%)
Serve as the primary point of contact for OEMs and printers throughout the certification lifecycle
Manage certification intake, scheduling, and overall order coordination
Provide clear and timely status updates to customers regarding certification progress and timelines
Coordinate with independent external partners responsible for certification evaluations
Communicate certification outcomes, including pass/fail results and next steps, in a clear and professional manner
Respond to customer questions related to certification requirements, process, and timing
Customer Experience & Internal Collaboration
Ensure a responsive, organized, and high-quality customer service experience
Work closely with internal teams and external partners to keep certifications moving efficiently
Identify process improvements to enhance customer experience and operational effectiveness
Create and maintain documentation or SOPs related to certification workflows, as needed
Qualifications
Experience in account management, customer services, sales, or business development roles
Some familiarity with the printing industry is strongly preferred—whether through direct experience, education, or professional exposure; knowledge of commercial printing, packaging, labels, wide format, or apparel decoration is a plus
Strong customer service skills with a responsive, solutions-oriented approach
Ability to manage multiple accounts and priorities in a high-volume environment
Strong oral and written communication skills, including the ability to explain processes and outcomes clearly
Ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external partners
Comfort working with sales pipelines, tracking activity, and meeting growth targets
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
