Based on a list of 60-day notice filings that have been registered with states regarding enforcement actions under Prop 65, 575 notices have been filed.

In 2016, OSHA implemented a mandatory injury and illness electronic reporting rule for small employers that operate in certain “high hazard industries”. The requirement applies to any printing operation that has or had at any time last year more than 20 full time, part time, or temporary employees.

On January 23, 2019, the U.S. Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) announced plans to increase the maximum penalties an employer can be issued for violations by slightly more than 1%.

All employers are reminded that your OSHA Form 300A should be posted in a conspicuous location between February 1 and April 30, 2019.
