The In-Plant Printing and Mailing Association (IPMA) is thrilled to announce the IPMA Board of Directors has selected Dawn Nye to receive an IPMA Outstanding Contributor Award. She will be honored at IPMA’s 2022 Educational Conference and Vendor Fair June 12-16, 2022 in Buffalo, NY.

SolidTune has been developed with the specific challenges of packaging production in mind, building on the success of the crucial elements of InkTune and PressTune, which are part of the highly regarded Agfa ECO3 program for sustainable innovation. The new technique applies a unique algorithm to the solids and text, after screening prior plate imaging. This process reduces the amount of ink needed for printing by an average of 3%.

OSHA announced its National Emphasis Program (NEP) on prevention of heat related illness and injuries. OSHA has made protecting workers from heat related injuries and illnesses a priority due to the danger of extreme heat increases experienced.
