Supreme Court Reins in Federal Agency’s Regulatory Power

On June 28, 2024, the United States Supreme Court issued a monumental decision in the Loper Bright Enterprises v. Raimondo (Loper) case that has overturned a forty-year-old approach of how many regulations were developed and enforced. The Court held that federal agencies were no longer granted wide discretion to interpret the laws that Congress passes and which the agencies are directed to enforce. -
GPO Director Names Managing Director Security and Intelligent Documents

WASHINGTON − U.S. Government Publishing Office (GPO) Director Hugh Nathanial Halpern has named David (Dave) Spiers as Managing Director, Security and Intelligent Documents (SID). In this capacity, Spiers will lead the GPO business unit that designs, prints, personalizes, and delivers Secure Federal Credentials for many Government Agencies, which includes the U.S. passport for the U.S. Department of State. David (Dave) Ford previously led SID and will continue to support the business unit by managing SID budgets and finances. -

(Konica Minolta) today announced its participation in the Alzheimer's Association Ride to End ALZ Summer Classic, happening Saturday and Sunday, August 24 and 25. The charity bike ride raises funds for the fight to end Alzheimer's disease, and allows participants to ride anywhere, any distance, indoors or outdoors with no minimum fundraising requirement.
