Coalition Sign-On Letters

PRINTING United Alliance partners with a variety of national and state coalitions to share expertise and move the needle on common issues. Coalition sign-on letters carry weight with legislators, the administration and other key decision makers as they demonstrate unity on positions by a wide range of interested parties. The Alliance Joins CWS Comments on OSHA's Illness & Injury Recordkeeping Rule

June 30, 2022 - The Coalition for Workplace Safety (CWS) and 62 organizations, including PRINTING United Alliance, submitted comments on OSHA’s proposed rule, Improve Tracking of Workplace Injuries and Illnesses.

The Alliance Supports PPLA on Package Inserts; Letter Sent to House Appropriations Committee

June 22, 2022 - The Alliance issued a letter to the House Appropriations Committee recommending that package inserts (PI) remain the norm, since they serve as the primary source of reliable, scientific information for healthcare professionals as “learned intermediaries” to patients, or for the involved patient or caregiver who reads the PI for their own benefit.

Industry Letter Concerning the Safer Products for Washington State Program

May 16, 2022 - PRINTING United Alliance signed onto this industry letter issued to Washington State Governor Jay Inslee expressing significant concern regarding the Department of Ecology’s new Safer Products for Washington regulatory program. The program will have unintended consequences for the long term safety and availability of products in Washington State.
