Position Summary:
The Account Executive position is a junior-level sales role responsible for driving revenue across a portfolio of B-to-B media brands, including Printing Impressions, Wide-Format Impressions, Packaging Impressions, In-Plant Impressions, The Apparelist, and Promo Impressions. This is a pure sales position focused on generating net new business, building a strong pipeline, and converting prospects into long-term advertising and marketing partners.
This role is ideal for a highly motivated, early-career sales professional who thrives on prospecting, is energized by outreach, and is eager to build a career in media sales. Success in this role requires persistence, curiosity, and a fearless approach to engaging new accounts.
This position is remote within the United States and requires a work schedule aligned with Eastern Standard Time (EST) business hours.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
New Business Development and Prospecting:
• Proactively identify, research, and pursue new revenue opportunities across all assigned brands.
• Build and maintain a robust pipeline through consistent outbound activity including cold calling, email outreach, social selling, and networking.
• Engage decision-makers across target accounts to introduce brand capabilities and uncover marketing needs.
• Schedule and conduct discovery meetings to qualify prospects and develop sales opportunities.
• Demonstrate a high level of activity and urgency in prospecting efforts, with a strong focus on daily outreach.
Revenue Generation:
• Sell integrated media solutions including print, digital, newsletters, sponsored content, video, research, lead generation, and event sponsorships.
• Develop customized proposals that align client objectives with available media solutions.
• Consistently meet or exceed individual revenue targets and activity goals.
• Close new business and transition accounts into repeat advertisers through strong relationship management.
• Maintain accurate records of sales activity, pipeline, and forecasts in CRM systems.
Account Development:
• Grow newly acquired accounts by identifying additional opportunities across the full brand
portfolio.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to support retention and long-term revenue
growth.
• Deliver high-quality client service, ensuring campaigns meet expectations and performance
goals.
Cross-Brand Selling:
• Develop a working knowledge of all media brands and their respective audiences, markets, value
propositions, and product offerings.
• Identify opportunities to cross-sell and bundle offerings across multiple brands.
• Position integrated solutions that maximize client exposure and ROI.
Collaboration and Execution:
• Work closely with internal teams including sales leadership, marketing, audience development,
and ad operations to execute campaigns effectively.
• Utilize sales materials, research, and insights to support client conversations.
• Participate in training and development programs to build sales skills and industry knowledge.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 0–3 years of sales experience (media, advertising, events, SaaS, or B-to-B preferred but not
required).
• Strong interest in sales, business development, and client-facing roles.
• Demonstrated ability or strong desire to prospect and generate new business.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• High level of energy, resilience, and persistence.
• Comfortable making cold calls and engaging new prospects regularly.
• Organized with the ability to manage multiple opportunities simultaneously.
• Familiarity with CRM tools is a plus.
