State of the Industry Update, First Quarter 2025
This report presents results of the PRINTING United Alliance Effects of Tariffs on the Printing Industry Survey. A total of 292 companies with annual sales ranging from less than $1 million to more than $500 million participated. The majority define their primary business as commercial printing, graphic and sign (wide-format) printing, or apparel decoration.Participants shared how they expect the increase in tariffs to affect their sales, costs, and profitability, which materials they expect to be affected most, how they plan to adjust to the increases, and whether the new tariff regime will have any positive effects.
