Printing Industries of America’s Julie Shaffer to present two seminars at GRAPH EXPO 2012

Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, September 4, 2012—Printing Industries of America is pleased to announce that Julie Shaffer, Vice President, Digital Technologies, will present 50 Hot Tips to Power up Your Social Media Program and Social Commerce—How to Sell Directly on Social Media Sites at GRAPH EXPO 2012, October 7–10, at McCormick Place in Chicago.

Julie heads up the Digital Printing Council (DPC) as well as the Center for Digital Printing Excellence at Printing Industries of America. She has more than 20 years of experience in pre-media and print and is well-known for her graphic production expertise. She is often called upon for training, presentations, and to provide on-site consulting throughout the industry on a diverse range of topics, including PDF, color management, digital printing, social media, and Web-to-print implementation.

Julie’s seminars will be particularly beneficial to sales executives, business managers, and social media professionals.

Social Commerce—How to Sell Directly on Social Media Sites

Today, social media platforms are used for direct commerce, the same as an extension of any other ecommerce platform, a place where customers can directly purchase your products. In this seminar Julie will discuss the social commerce solutions on the market today, group buying programs, and local merchant solutions. You will learn to take advantage of social media sites to sell your product and which platform will work for your company.

50 Hot Tips to Power up Your Social Media Program
Monday, October 8, 4:00–5:00 p.m.
This seminar will feature ways to increase your social engagement, make it more fun, and gain measurable ROI. In this session you will learn how to supercharge your social media efforts. By using the right tools, you can engage with less time and more results, and Julie will show you how.
