The Principles of Parallax Autostereopsis Printing and Presentation.

Although the impact of stereopsis is great, the technique is used seldom in printing or in idea presentation. This condition exists because the methods of stereo printing or presentation are involved, painstaking, bothersome, sometimes inadequate, and nearly always expensive. Many of the problems in the use of stereo printing and presentation techniques are concerned with the need for an auxiliary viewing aid. This factor is removed in a newly revived technique for stereographic presentation - parallax autostereopsis printing. In this paper, the principles of this method of presentation are outlined and the method is compared with other forms of stereo presentation.
