Summary:

The Remak process is the first absolutely consistent pre-press proving method. It is based upon electrostatic overprinting of multiple images upon a single sheet of zinc oxide paper. The process takes approximately eight minutes per color to completion. It affords users an opportunity to check their work against a consistent norm for press, platemaking and stripping quality control. It also has implications in the packaging industry, the publishing industry and other related fields. It is presently marketed in a balanced set of process color inks and will soon be available in a wider range of secondary colors.
