A Reflection Densitometer Head for the Control of Ink Amounts on Proofs.

Details:

Year: 1959
Pages: 7

Summary:

A reflection head has been designed for use with the Densichron which will enable proofers to exercise closer control of the amount of ink used in proofing letterpress 4color engravings. This head minimizes change in reflection density on drying by using polarized light and efficient control of scattered light. This should help solve one of the major problems of the printer who has to print two or more subjects in line which have been proofed at different times.
