Summary:
A simple and accurate Indicator is described for angling and cutting contact screens. The Indicator generates moirepatterns when a screen of like ruling is placed over the Indicator. These patterns are used to obtain an accuracy of +0.1 degree in angling the contact screen. The need for this accuracy is explained, as well as other theoretical considerations of the screen patterns produced in a four-color reproduction.
