Tutorial Bibliographies -IV- Printing Inks and Their Constituents.

The literature on solvents, resins, and convertible coatings is reviewed with special reference to materials that have been or can be used in formulating inks, other than the dyes and pigments discussed in TAGA Proc. 1967, 66 126. The properties of vehicles that relate to ink properties are discussed as quantitatively as possible. Formulations typifying inks of all types are exemplified.
