Testing Color Fastness in Graphic Arts.

A short report is given about the standardization of color fastness in the graphic arts in Europe, and especially in Switzerland. Stress is laid upon the importance of standardization for ink manufacturers and printers. The application of cathode ray tubes and nonvacuum devices for this purpose, the means for forming characters, and various methods of achieving rapid hard-copy material are discussed.
