Printing Pressure Distribution in Contact Areas of Offset Press Cylinder

Research work on pressure distribution in contact areas of offset press cylinders has been presented, both theoretically and experimentally. The work aims at establishing some basic research for offset press design. Experiments were performed on an offset proofing press. The pressure distribution in cross section was measured without paper and with three kinds of paper in the nip with the same packing and at the same speed.
