An Electronic Process Camera

The Autokon Electronic Process Camera is a flat-bed common-optic laser read-write system tailored for use in the newspaper industry. It accepts reflection line and continuous tone copy and can selectively enlarge, reduce, reverse and make halftones on paper or film. The Autokon is also capable of performing a variety of photographic manipulations, including unsharp masking. The electronic and optical scheme is discussed along with a detailed account of the photographic functions.
