International Standardization in Graphic Technology.

Details:

Year: 1977
Pages: 8

Summary:

In 1969, the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) established a Technical Committee (TCISO) on Graphic Technology, to standardize terminology, test methods, and specifications in the field of printing and graphic technology, from the original to the finished product. Besides the permanent subcommittee on terminology, there are working groups on such topics as paper sizes for sheet-fed machines, correction marks, and typographical measurements. The United States is neither a participating member nor observer. We could become involved in this work if there were sufficient interest in doing so.
