Summary:
A numerical expression of wrinkles on multi-color printed web, which develop in fast ink-drying processes of web offset system, has been introduced. The numerical values were correlated to naked eye evaluations on printed sheets. Using this index, the effects on the wrinkles were analyzed to find better drying conditions.
