An Ink Transfer Equation.

The Walker-Fetsko ink transfer equation has been applied successfully in many quantitative studies of ink transfer for all of the three main printing methods. However, there are quite a few instances in which the calculated transfer curves deviate significantly from those determined experimentally. Besides, the behavior of the immobilization parameter, b, under different printing conditions is far from being consistent. A new ink transfer equation is offered.
