The SGIA Government and Business Affairs staff submitted comments to the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources (WDNR) supporting its proposed revisions to the hazardous waste regulations. SGIA’s comments were on the draft of the estimated economic impacts of the proposed rule revisions. -
SGIA Requests Ohio EPA to Revise Its Air Toxics Regulation

SGIA Joins Coalition Opposing California’s Proposed Ban on Paper Receipts

A bill has been introduced in California which would phase out the use of paper receipts in favor of electronic ones. SGIA has joined an industry coalition that has submitted a letter dated March 18, 2019 in opposition to the bill. -

Electronic Injury and Illness Reporting Update for 2019

In 2016, OSHA implemented a mandatory injury and illness electronic reporting rule for small employers that operate in certain “high hazard industries”.
