Webinar Overview
What's really happening when you convert images to CMYK? It seems simple enough with a mere mode change in Adobe Photoshop--but there's much more going on than meets the eye! Undercolor removal (UCR) and gray component replacement (GCR) are the main considerations when converting images from RGB to CMYK for print reproduction. Understanding the concepts of why they are needed, how they influence color in color separation, and the advantages and disadvantages of each are critical to successful color reproduction.
In this webinar, we'll will go under the hood using practical examples and visuals to provide a clear understanding of UCR and GCR techniques for color separation in print production.
