In August, the new warning label requirements under California’s Safe Drinking Water Act, more commonly referred to as Prop 65, become mandatory. These changes are sparking discussion and controversy throughout the supply chain. Who is required to do what? This is just the tip of the iceberg. The state of Washington enacted legislation to ban the use of PFAS’ which impacts food packaging, among other items. And the US EPA continues to develop and implement regulatory programs for the new TSCA provisions.
