printIQ and DocketManager Appoint Print-Industry Engineering Leader William Li as VP of Engineering

Former Kodak Director of Engineering and 2025 TAGA Michael H. Bruno Award recipient to lead platform modernisation and AI strategy across both companies

Ann Arbor – printIQ, the cloud-based Print MIS platform used by enterprise printers across Australia, New Zealand, North America and Europe, and its sister company DocketManager, serving the SMB print market from Ontario, announced the appointment of William Li as VP of Engineering.

William will lead engineering across both companies, owning technology strategy, platform architecture and product delivery. He will focus on modernizing both platforms, building a unified data foundation for reporting and AI, and accelerating delivery through AI-assisted development.

William brings more than thirty years of software leadership in print and graphic arts. Over 28 years at Kodak, he progressed from software engineer on the Prinergy workflow platform to Director of Engineering. There he led the build and launch of PRINERGY Access, a multi-tenant cloud SaaS workflow product, while sustaining an established portfolio of on-premise products. He is widely recognized across the industry, having served as Co-Chair of the International Color Consortium for 19 years and Convenor of the ISO TC130 working group on color management. In 2025 he received the TAGA Michael H. Bruno Award for outstanding contributions to the graphic arts industry.

“William combines deep print-industry knowledge with hands-on experience modernizing software platforms at scale,” said John Alden, CEO of printIQ and DocketManager. “Our customers depend on printIQ and DocketManager to run their businesses every day. William will help us invest in the reliability, data and AI capabilities that keep them ahead, especially as our North American business continues to grow.”

“printIQ and DocketManager sit at the operational heart of the printing businesses they serve,” said William Li. “That makes them the right place to apply AI where it matters: in estimating, production and the data printers already trust. I’m looking forward to working with a talented, experienced team to build the next generation of both platforms.”
