Epson Achieves Digital Press System from Idealliance for Epson SurePress L-6534VW

Idealliance announces it has certified the Epson SurePress L-6534VW with Digital Varnish with Wasatch SoftRIP v8, according to its Digital Press System Certification. This system has met the requirements established by the industry through international specifications and standards driven by the Idealliance Print Properties Committee, according to requirements across colorimetric accuracy, uniformity, and repeatability. The durability of printed products, registration, and variable data are also measured to earn this coveted achievement.

Digital press system certification evaluates both a digital front end (DFE) paired with a print engine for adherence to multiple international standards specified in ISO 12647-8, ISO 15311, and ISO 15339, through Idealliance’s extensive independent, third-party verification over 20 criteria.

The highly automated Epson SurePress L-6534VW Digital Label Press also includes high-pigment, low-migration LED UV curing ink that eliminates the need for precoating a substrate and can be used with standard flexo substrates.

For print manufacturers, this certification provides assurance that this print technology can deliver the highest level of output quality and consistency for inkjet and toner presses through the Digital Press System Certification program. This allows them to meet the stringent demands of leading print buyersand brands for their products including digital label applications.
