PRINTING United Alliance Submits Comments to Michigan on New Air Regulations for Printing Operations

Several areas in Michigan failed to achieve compliance with health-based pollution standards set by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) called National Ambient Air Quality Standards (NAAQS), for ozone. As a result, the Michigan Department of Environment, Great Lakes, and Energy (EGLE) is moving forward with a series of new regulations designed to reduce the precursors of ozone, which are Volatile Organic Compounds (VOC) and Nitrogen Oxides (NOx).
