Komori, MBO to Demonstrate Solutions Optimizing Efficiency at PRINTING United Expo

Komori America and MBO America will demonstrate the synergies between the two companies and their singular focus on advancing print solutions by delivering high-performance offset and digital printing and finishing technology at PRINTING United Expo in Las Vegas, Oct. 19-21. In Booth #N135, under the theme “Performance Unparalleled,” Komori America and MBO America will showcase a wide range of products and solutions that answer current industry challenges, support business innovation and improve profitability.

Komori America will highlight the success of its new Lithrone GX/G advance offset press series that is getting attention from commercial and packaging printers across the globe, proving to be ideal for a wide range of thin and thick stock production environments. The advance series, built on the Lithrone GX and G platforms, features enhanced software, automation, and operation features that create a platform offering increased productivity across a wide range of applications proven to show a high ROI for pressroom investments. Komori advance control systems feature fewer operator touchpoints and integrated machine learning, addressing the industry-wide challenge of finding skilled press operators. Additionally, the presses support both the thrust for digital transformation (DX) and sustainability with the ability to fully automate and link to other production processes using centralized digital technology. Komori will have on display in the booth many testimonial videos from advance customers, as well as an array of creative applications customers have produced on the advance line.

MBO America will showcase and demonstrate finishing solutions for sheetfed offset and roll fed inkjet print production that highlight its modular finishing system strategy, leading to production environments with reduced labor, faster makeready, downtime reduction and a high level of flexibility. Visitors to Booth N135 will see a live demonstration of MBO’s Roll Fed Finishing Line configured for self-mail production, finishing inkjet, pre-printed rolls, coated on one side with UV gloss coating (using the FC23 Coater) and an added tip-on CR80 card. Also, live in the booth will be the new Autonomous Folding Production System that includes autopilot operation, automated quality control and robotic stacking, running back-to-back job changes for signature production at high production speeds, while requiring less than one operator. Additionally, the new-generation FC23 UV Coater for continuous forms inkjet presses will be on display in the booth.

“It is with great excitement that Komori and MBO show unity at PRINTING United to showcase how we are successfully leveraging our strong synergies to better support our customers in achieving a higher level of productivity,” says Lance Martin, VP of marketing for Komori America and MBO America. “With the industry continuing to change at a rapid pace, it’s important that, as manufacturers, we deliver on the products and solutions our customers need to meet the challenges they are facing today and grow their businesses.
