Washington State Safety Law for Staffing Agencies and Companies Employing Temporary Workers

Washington State passed a law in July 2021 that creates detailed protections for employees who are placed with companies through staffing agencies. The law covers the staffing agency that has employees who are temporarily placed with companies for work assignments, and also covers worksite employers where the staffing agency employees are working. The printing industry, like many industries, uses staffing agency employees frequently to close gaps in their workforce.
