Shuffled Ink Chooses the Rollem Insignia6 Die Cutter for Folding Carton Production

Shuffled Ink, a family owned and operated company, has produced millions of decks of custom playing cards, card games, and tarot and flash cards for individuals and companies around the world. Its products are manufactured at its state-of-the-art production facilities in Orlando, Florida.

Seeking to improve its production method for creating card boxes, Shuffled Ink identified Rollem’s award-winning Insignia6 die cutter to increase the box quality along with greater production outputs. They recently received installation of Rollem’s Insignia6 Die Cutter to help produce its playing card boxes and cartons.

The Insignia Series eliminates sending out profitable work and allows for more control over production and turnaround times. The Insignia6 has a 20x20” sheet size, which gives the user the ability to feed sheets either portrait or landscape to maximize press sheet impositions.

The IS6 performs diecutting, kiss cutting, embossing, perforating, scoring, and cut-scoring on a range of papers, plastics, PVC, styrene, and polypropylenes. It handles substrates between 0.006 and 0.024” thick with run speeds up to 5,000 sph. The Insignia is offered in four different size models and the X3 model handles up to 30 pt. thicknesses. Two types of delivery units are available along with in-line folding/gluing units for uninterrupted flat sheet to folded and glued products.
