ColDesi Adds Four New Team Members

ColDesi continues to grow, as the company is excited to announce the arrival of four new team members!

This expansion includes three account managers: Mitchell Starr (Mitch), Scott Romano, and Robin Dykes, as well as one customer care representative: Ashley Killingsworth.

New York native Starr has expansive sales experience including owning his own bagel shop for 20 years. He enjoys playing and watching hockey. In fact, he worked at Amalie Arena as a suite attendant for 14 consecutive years and was given a Stanley Cup ring for the Lightning winning the cup in 2020.

Starr says he is excited to be a part of a team that is so fully committed to their customers' success.

ColDesi Sales Manager, Joe Smalley, says, “With a wealth of sales experience, Mitch has hit the ground running as a contributor to the ColDesi Sales Team and we are excited to have him on board!”

Romano was looking to join an organization that treats customers with class and respect, so when he found ColDesi, he was excited for the opportunity to jump on board.

Romano was born and raised in Tampa, where he grew up playing baseball. As a former athletic apparel designer and creator, he is looking forward to forming meaningful relationships with customers.

“He brings with him this competitive edge that he got when he was playing baseball professionally,” says Sales Manager, Alex Duran. “He also has a unique perspective of the apparel decorating industry from his time running his own business.”

Part of a plan for continued growth, Dykes’ hire builds on the successful addition of Sawgrass Sublimation Printers and the Roland BN-20 to the ColDesi family of brands.

One of her biggest passions is music and, since working for ColDesi, she says she has noticed her creativity flourish.

“Within the first week, it was clear to me that this company was built with a solid foundation of talented individuals who strive for greatness — with ambitions not just for their individual success, but for the prosperity of ColDesi,” says Dykes.

Crafting hobbyist Killingsworth is a circuit user and spends her free time making custom cups with her mom.

As a customer care representative, she will be at the forefront of ColDesi’s on-boarding experience, that sets new equipment owners up for success.

“Ashley brings us great customer service and shipping and we are excited to see her grow on the ColDesi Customer Care Team,” says Smalley.
