'This is Our Shot' urges industries to get vaccinated against COVID-19 as a pivotal step toward saving lives and returning the manufacturing economy to normal operations

Fairfax, Va. — PRINTING United Alliance today voiced its support of the National Association of Manufacturers (NAM) and The Manufacturing Institute’s campaign called “This is Our Shot,” which includes NAM’s first public service announcement, “I Love Frank.” The campaign showcases why manufacturers are rolling up their sleeves to get a COVID-19 vaccine — to protect their family, coworkers and the people they love — and works to encourage industry workers to elect to take COVID-19 vaccinations whenever possible to save lives and return the manufacturing economy to normal operations. The project is live at NAM.org/ThisIsOurShot where resources are posted on the importance of getting vaccinated, vaccine safety, vaccine distribution, and how to talk about vaccines.

“We echo NAM and The Manufacturing Institute’s message and urgency that is highlighted in ‘This is Our Shot’,” says Ford Bowers, CEO, PRINTING United Alliance. “We feel it is imperative that manufacturers across all industries elect to take the necessary measures, whenever it is possible for them to do so, to further protect one another as well as begin the steps needed to begin to reopen business operations again fully and safely.”

PRINTING United Alliance joins NAM, The Manufacturing Institute, and similar organizations in urging the public to take necessary precautions. The Alliance has committed to promoting “This Is Our Shot” and providing further resources and recommendations by organizations such as the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and World Health Organization (WHO) through PRINTING United Alliance and NAPCO Media properties and social media channels. This message will be shared far and wide to Alliance members and the industry at large. The Alliance will additionally support and promote the public service campaign through the BRAND United publishing arm of PRINTING United, which targets an even broader audience in sectors such as retail, nonprofit, and hospitality.
