Orbus Recognized as a 2019 Matthew 25: Ministries Green Giving Partner

Orbus Exhibit & Display Group®, one of North America’s leading wholesale suppliers and manufacturers of display, exhibit, graphic and event solutions is excited to announce it has been recognized as a 2019 Green Giving Partner by one of its recycling partners, Matthew 25: Ministries. The Green Giving Partner Seal is awarded to Corporate Partners that display a commitment toward minimizing corporate waste and supporting humanitarian aid to the poorest of the poor and disaster victims in the U.S. and around the world each year. Orbus’ contributions aided Matthew 25: Ministries in helping over 21 million people in 2018. Matthew 25: Ministries shipped 862 truckloads, or over 16 million pounds of repurposed products rescued from landfills, of aid to people in need along with almost 3 million pounds of products distributed locally and around the world through disaster relief efforts.
 
Orbus’ efforts totaled 108 pallets contributed, resulting directly in 99,900 people helped, $25,920 in warehouse costs savings, $7,236 in landfill costs savings and 75,600 pounds in potential waste being repurposed. Orbus’ recycling efforts as a whole have successfully diverted 90% of its total waste from landfills in 2018, up from 77% in 2017. Orbus’ ISO 14001:2015 certification is a driving force behind its continued environmental commitment and recycling efforts.
