Current installations have used either experienced toner-based digital press operators or offset press operators as their leads on production inkjet presses. The operators must have the aptitude to learn a new technology that is not quite traditional offset and not quite toner-based digital. Either way, you're going to be putting a lot of trust into those operators, and one of the keys to success is to choose someone who really cares about the process from a printing, quality control, and maintenance standpoint.
