Established in 1973 by the Specialty Graphic Imaging Association (SGIA) Board of Directors, ASDPT is an international body of expert printers, suppliers and educators who have made significant contributions to the growth of the screen and digital printing industries. Each year, the Academy accepts nominations for new members who have demonstrated an industry commitment through their work and/or educational efforts. The Academy also presented Mark Coudray of Coudray Growth Technologies the 2018 Dave Swormstedt, Sr. Memorial Award, an honor given to the author of an outstanding technical article published in the previous calendar year. SGIA congratulates Coudray and the newest ASDPT members: Alan Howe, SAATI Americas  Alan Howe has more than 30 years of industry experience, beginning his career with an equipment manufacturer in 1987.
