DuPont Advanced Printing Showcases Innovations at LabelExpo 2018

DuPont Advanced Printing (SGIA Expo Booth 145), together with Mark Andy Print Products, will highlight the newest enhancements to the entire flexographic printing workflow process, including pre-press, on-press and postpress offerings at Stand 749 at LabelExpo 2018 in Rosemont, Illinois, Sept. 25-27. At the show, DuPont will showcase the Cyrel® FAST 2000 TD and DuPont™ Cyrel® EASY flexographic printing plate technology. Built on nearly two decades of global experience with Cyrel® FAST, the Cyrel® FAST 2000 TD is the latest addition to the DuPont portfolio. DuPont Advanced Printing also will highlight its Artistri® ink offerings available for flexible packaging applications in commercial printing. DuPont™ Cyrel® FAST 2000 TD is a thermal, solvent-free flexographic plate processor. Since the equipment is solvent-free, it is environmentally friendly with no solvents to handle, store or recycle, and no drying time is required, enabling businesses to create high-quality Cyrel® FAST press-ready plates in less than an hour. In addition to the Cyrel® FAST 2000 TD, the booth also will feature a Mark Andy VPM400 Video Plate Mounter and Esko’s CDI Crystal 4835 XPS system. The VPM400 is a standalone unit with adjustable table, plate cylinder mounting rails and laser pointers. The newest Esko CDI Crystal 4835 XPS was created to combine flexo plate imaging and exposure into one simple step. “Today, we are among the leading flexo plate suppliers to global tag and label customers. The Cyrel® FAST thermal workflow is the ideal workflow solution for tag and label customers. It enables very fast processing, cost savings and improved sustainability performance while delivering high-quality results. Using Cyrel® flexo plates and the Cyrel® FAST thermal workflow, you can easily meet the tough demands of tag and label customers. High screen rulings, tight register and fine type are no longer a challenge –  even on a variety of paper, board and pressure-sensitive substrates,” said Kelly Reichert, regional leader – Americas, DuPont Advanced Printing. “In addition to flexo printing, we’re excited to highlight offerings from the Artistri® portfolio that provide options for printers looking to use water-based inkjet inks for their commercial, industrial and packaging needs,” said Bernd Daiber, global business leader – commercial inks.
