Oregon DEQ Offers Training on new Solvent Contaminated Wiper Rule

The Oregon DEQ is offering two identical training opportunities for their newly adopted Hazardous Waste Rule for Solvent Contaminated Wipes. This course will give you the steps to meet both federal and state requirements.  Registration is open on a first-come, first-served basis for in-person (maximum 28), and unlimited for internet webinar (no maximum).  Training will be held on August 30th and September 26th.  Oregon’s rule with state amendments went into effect July 12, 2017. This program explains how facilities must manage the wipes in Oregon as specified in the regulation and comply with applicable recordkeeping requirements.  To register, click here:  http://www.oregon.gov/deq/Hazards-and-Cleanup/hw/Pages/HW-Trainings.aspx.
