2016 Minimum Wage Ballot Initiatives

In the recent November election, four states passed ballot measures increasing minimum wage.  Here is a quick recap: 
  • In Arizona, the minimum wage will be raised to $12 by 2020. The City of Flagstaff passed an increase to $15 by 2021.
  • In Colorado, the minimum wage will be raised to $12 by 2020
  • In Maine, the minimum wage will be raised to $12 by 2020
  • In Washington, the minimum wage will be raised to $13.50 by 2020.
