BBC Industries Donates New Equipment to SGIA Educator Member

Fairfax, Virginia —BBC Industries is giving back to the next generation of industry professionals by donating a new body flash heater and floorstand to Waynesville Career Center in Waynesville, Missouri. As a member of the SGIA Education Committee, Ron Vinyard, Owner of BBC Industries is intimately aware of the financial hardships that educational institutes experience. Teaching their students the latest technologies is critical, but new equipment is expensive. “Schools need support from the printing community because they often do not have a budget for teaching aids such as this [type of equipment],” said Vinyard. “We support SGIA’s efforts to introduce specialty printing to students, and we hope to do something like this again in the future.” Upon receiving the news, instructor Bryan Shaffner from Waynesville Career Center was thrilled. “Cutbacks in student population as well as funding are looming, and a donation as substantial as this will boost the program. We’re very grateful and excited to start using it!” SGIA is dedicated to developing and providing educational tools for the printing community to ensure a world-class workforce.
