Protection and Lamination
Banners of most media types can be protected by the use of either a thermal set or pressure sensitive laminate coatings being applied. Alternately, liquid laminates can also be applied to enhance outdoor or indoor durability. Typically, solvent and UV curable ink banners have an outdoor life anywhere from 1-5 years, depending on sun, pollution, and other environmental factors. Indoor banners can have good indoor longevity depending on the environmental and lighting conditions.
