The Environmental Protection Agency’s (EPA) Hazardous Waste Generator Improvements Rule went into effect May of 2017. This new rule serves as a reorganization of previous generator rules, making them easier to understand. It also allows for more flexible management of hazardous waste and closes gaps in the regulations. By making them easier to understand, compliance should improve.
