Problem

Lines, ripples or wrinkles that run parallel to the direction of feed (perpendicular to the rollers).

Cause 1

Excessive pull tension.

Solution 1

Lower pull clutch tension of the back rollers.

Cause 2

Inadequate cooling time.

Solution 2

  • Web the output through chill bars (if laminator is so equipped).
  • Slow processing speed.
  • Turn on cooling fans.
