5 Tips for InterTech ™ Technology Awards Hopefuls

Printing Industries of America is currently seeking the next wave of print and graphic arts technologies for the 2019 InterTechTM Technology Awards. If your company has a truly innovative technology set to impact the printing industry, here are five tips to help you optimize your entry:

1. Highlight Innovation Relevancy

The InterTechTM Technology Awards program focuses on honoring those technologies considered to make a significant advancement in print and graphic arts. Companies should enter their most innovative offerings that are past beta testing, commercially available, and new to market in the past three years.

2. Reference the Past

Since innovation is integral to success, it is highly recommended that entrants review recipients and candidates from prior years at www.printing.org/intertech. An entry that explains why an innovation stands apart from technology that might be considered similar is more likely to be honored with an InterTechTM Technology Award.

3. Describe in Detail

Entries need to be written concisely and highlight the true details that make your technology a standout. Videos, promotional materials, imagery, and news articles about your technology can further support the judges' understanding of your technology's advancements and function.

4. Kudos Are Key

InterTechTM Technology Awards work to honor innovations that make an industry impact, and there is no better way to understand that than positive accolades from a user benefitting from your technology in their daily operations. All entries should include testimonials letters that express the real-world benefits and application of your technology.

5. Take Advantage of Time

You've worked hard to make your technology a success, and we know it takes dedication and time to make those efforts shine in your entry. We recommend starting the submission process a couple months ahead of the final deadline of
