Meet the Women in Print Alliance

Sara Broghamer Chief Operations Officer Easiway Systems, Inc.

Sara Broghamer holds the position of Chief Operations Officer for Easiway Systems, Inc. A manufacturer and distributor of screen cleaning and reclaiming chemistry.

Raised in Minnesota, Sara attended the University of Minnesota, earning a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies and Design. She was also a member of the Minnesota Alpha Chapter of Pi Beta Phi.

Broghamer brings over a decade of experience in the screen printing and graphic arts industry; specifically, in screen cleaning and reclaiming. Her experience spans marketing, tradeshows, inside sales, outside sales, and compliance.

Sara is a member of both the SGIA Women in Print Alliance and the Ink & Chemical Manufacturers Advisory Council and a contributor to industry publications.

Ann Crum Owner Phoenix Inkjet & Colour Solutions LLC

Ann Crum is the owner of Phoenix Inkjet & Colour Solutions LLC, a worldwide digital inkjet ink and consumables supplier to the printing industry. Her background is diverse and touches many applications of digital print including high speed transactional/transpromo, direct mail, textile, POP, food, and packaging to name a few. She isn’t afraid to get her hands dirty and believes that working on equipment is critical to understanding problem solving and driving the industry forward. She tirelessly drives customer satisfaction and believes in building strong partnerships with all of the Phoenix Inkjet customers.

Ann is currently serving as Vice Chair of the new SGIA Digital Specifications Committee. She is also a member of both the Women in Print and Ink & Chemical Advisory Boards with SGIA. In her spare time, she serves as the Advisor to both the Secretary and Director of Programming at the Mu Lambda chapter of Chi Omega at the University of Dayton. She is proud to be supporting women as they gain experience in leadership roles and looks forward to building a strong network of women in the printing industry.

Denise Gustavson Editorial Director – Printing, Packaging, and Publishing NAPCO Media

With more than 20 years of experience in the visual communication markets, Denise Gustavson has in-depth knowledge of the issues, challenges and technologies of the industry. During her career, she steered and implemented major brand updates for several industry publications; launched new publications into niche markets; coordinated successful multi-year award programs; for eight years managed a high-profile industry show daily, which featured a complete multi-channel approach including print, digital editions, online website content/microsite, social and video; and successfully launched the first multi-channel SGIA Expo Daily in 2017.

Kristin Lanzarone Owner-Operator WrapStar Pro

Kristin Lanzarone is the owner-operator of WrapStar Pro a vehicle wrap and wide format printing company. Kristin has a diverse background in C+ Cisco Networking, Degree in Criminal Justice & Interior Design, Local Sheriff Academy Certificate, Website Building, Motorsports Promoter, Media & Marketing and Graphic Design. With her creditable knowledge she found her passion in vinyl graphics starting in the local Motorsports industry which gave her many opportunities to work with teams in NASCAR, Indy Lights, Formula Mazda and the local grassroot racers. 

Kristin started WrapStar Pro in 2013 with no professional training and ran her business on a self-taught bases studying how vinyl works. In 2018, Kristin completed her first training/certification with PDAA earning the Master Certified Installer badge. Since then, Kristin has grown working her way through the industry by actively serving on the PDAA committee & Women in Print Alliance. 

Today, Kristin's wrap business is thriving more than ever and is sharing her knowledge and skills with other up and coming installers. She will be launching a new addition to WrapStar Pro as a training facility and certification program for the grassroot installers.

Laura Maybaum Market Segment Manager Nazdar

Inducted into the ASDPT, 2008

Laura Maybaum is the market segment manager at Nazdar. She is responsible for managing screen ink portfolios for Industrial, Container, Electronic, Graphic and Specialty Screen Ink.

Adrienne Palmer Editor-in-Chief Big Picture and Screen Printing magazines

Adrienne Palmer joined Big Picture magazine in 2012 after graduating from Ohio University’s Scripps School of Journalism with a BA in magazine journalism. During her time with Big Picture, she has held the roles of assistant editor, associate editor, and managing editor, and is now serving as editor-in-chief. She is a 2019 Folio: Top Women in Media, in the Up and Comers category; spearheads Big Picture’s annual Women in Print Awards and Best of Wide Format Awards; is on the board of SGIA’s Women in Print Alliance; and represents the Big Picture team at numerous industry events year-round.

Heather Roden Strategic Account Manager Zund America

Heather Roden is strategic account manager for Zund America specializing in the graphics & packaging markets. She is a SGIA Women in Print Alliance Advisory Council member, Paperboard Packaging Council Women’s Leadership member and Girls Who Print follower. She has previously provided her speaking and moderation skills to SGIA, PPC & AICC. She will offer her insight on knowing your value from her career experience which has included graphic design, prepress management, art direction, marketing management and sales.

Elaine Scrima VP of Operations GSP

Elaine Scrima has been with GSP for over 20 years serving in various capacities as an integral part of GSP’s success and growth. She currently serves as the VP of Operations and is responsible for overseeing a staff of 350+ located across three production facilities in Clearwater, Florida; Provo, Utah; and Madison, Wisconsin.

Her team successfully produces and ships 60,000 marketing kits to stores across North America and internationally every month. In addition to helping GSP achieve G7® Master Qualification status for eight straight years, she has also led her team to wins of 12 prestigious Golden Image Awards for printing excellence from the Specialty Graphic Imaging Association (SGIA) Expo over the course of the past five years. She has held various positions at GSP including Account Executive, Customer Service Manager and Director of Human Resources.

Prior to GSP, she held management positions in foodservice and franchising organizations. Elaine has a BA in Communications from the University of Akron. In 2015, she was a featured speaker on the SGIA Expo’s “Production Dream Team” panel. She currently serves on the SGIA Women in Print Alliance advisory group and the Signs of Times' Editorial Advisory Board.

In 2016 she was a finalist for the Tampa Bay Businesswomen of the Year Award and was one of five women recognized by Big Picture magazine as a Women in Print Award winner also in 2016.

Tiffany Rader Spitzer Operations and Technical Product Manager Roeder Industries

Tiffany Rader Spitzer loves all aspect of print, especially garment screen printing. She is currently the Operations and Technical Product Manager at Roeder Industries (garment screen print supply house) as well as Owner/Operator of RedHeaded Step Shirt (consultant company). Previous co-owner of Allusive Butterfly, an award winning contract screen print company, with a history of teaching at trade shows and writing articles for industry publications, she utilizes her almost 20 year industry experience to spread awareness and enthusiasm about screen printing. From start-ups to large multi-automatic shops, Tiffany trains and teaches for both the individual and in large group settings. In her free time, she volunteers within the industry and is an advisory council member for both Women in Print Alliance and the Sustainability, Safety, Health & Personnel Council with SGIA.

Lauren Tarbet Department Supervisor Pflugerville ISD

Lauren Tarbet received a B.S. from Texas State University in 2008 and entered the retail printing industry in 2009. Tarbet joined Pflugerville ISD in 2013 as a print technician and was promoted to department supervisor a few months after joining the district.

Tarbet continuously seeks out new ways to increase productivity and efficiency by implementing new products and processes. Pflugerville ISD has 32 schools with over 25,000 students and nearly 3,200 faculty and staff.

Lane Kathryn Hickey-Wiggins President and CEO Douglass Screen Printers, Inc.

Lane Kathryn Hickey-Wiggins is the President and CEO at Douglass Screen Printers, Inc. dba DPRINT, a screen and digital printing company based in Lakeland, Florida. The firm was named in DiversityBusiness.com's Top 500 Women-Owned Businesses in the United States and Top 100 Diversity-Owned Businesses in Florida, is a Top Printer to the U.S. Government Publishing Office, and in 2012, was the first screen and digital printer in Florida to become "green" certified through Sustainable Green Printing Partnership (SGP).

Mrs. Hickey-Wiggins is a member of the Polk County Kid's Tag Art Steering Committee and the Go For The Greens Foundation Board of Directors. She is currently serving as President of Explorations V Children's Museum Board of Directors. She is actively serving for the PRINTING United Alliance (PrUA) Board of Directors, PrUA’s Sustainability, Safety, Health and Personnel Advisory Council, and Co-Chair of PrUA's Women in Print Alliance Advisory Council.

She is an alumna member of the Women President's Organization and a member of the National Association of Women Business Owners CIRCLE. 

Mrs. Hickey-Wiggins holds an AA in Business Administration from Polk Community College, a BFA in Art History from Savannah College of Art & Design, and an MBA from the University of South Florida.
