As we interact with printing company leaders, one common concern relates to the ability of these leaders to recruit, hire, and adequately staff their firms. Given the surge of baby-boomer retirement, the application of new technology, and possible firm growth, recruiting and hiring are vital functions, possibly more important today than in years past.
In this context, our current Management Study, conducted by Printing Industries of America's Center for Print Economics and Management in cooperation with the Management Department of the Jones College of Business at Middle Tennessee State University, explores recruiting, hiring, and HR practices in PIA member companies, seeking to discern what is effective and efficient in the printing industry and sharing that knowledge with member companies.
Given the relevance of this topic, we hope you will promptly participate in the study. Each participant will receive a comprehensive report of the findings along with other benefits. We look forward to exploring the topics of recruiting, hiring, and HR practices, problems that are especially relevant to our industry today and in the future.
