25x38-in. Test Form, Four-Color - Negative

Designed to help printers in diagnosing and calibrating color reproduction on 40-in. presses; available in digital or film form. The film-based test form is output at 150 lpi using a Euclidean dot shape.

Included with this test form is a PIA/GATF Plate Control Target, a PIA/GATF Mechanical Ghosting Test Form, and a PIA/GATF Register Test Grid. The Plate Control Target monitors exposure and image quality. The Mechanical Ghosting Test Form evaluates the ghosting tendency of a specific printing "system" (the press / ink / paper / blanket / fountain solution / plate combination being used). The Register Test Grid tests the register accuracy of vacuum frames and step-and-repeat machines and is used on multi-unit printing presses to test for unit-to-unit registration.
