Printing Sales Contracts: Samples from the Industry
Printing Sales Contracts: Samples from the Industry
Item No: 1829
member: $80.00
Product Description:
In recent years, Printing Industries of America has seen an increase in the number of requests for sample sales contracts from graphic communications firms. As jobs within the industry, ownership of materials, and legal requirements and case law have grown more complex, these firms have been able to avoid many troublesome and time-consuming challenges associated with this increasingly complex process. Printing Sales Contracts: Samples from the Industry, compiled by the Printing Industries of America Human Relations Department, offers a large collection of sample printing sales contracts. Various types of contracts can be found within this collection, including:
<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />
- Fulfillment Agreements
- Commercial Agreements
- Magazine Agreements
- Book Agreements
- Confidentiality Agreements
“Today, clients are more sophisticated and the jobs more complex. Many clients are demanding or even offering contracts for their jobs. That’s why we collected sample contracts from across the industry and assembled them in a new book, Printing Sales Contracts: Samples from the Industry,” explains Jim Kyger, Human Relations Director at Printing Industries of America.
While readers are cautioned to refrain from using these samples on an “as-is” basis, this resource can be extremely valuable in providing practical ideas that can be customized to fit your company’s needs. Additionally, readers are encouraged to utilize Business Practices (formerly known as Trade Customs) in conjunction with the sample sales contracts. This resource has been successfully utilized for this purpose in the past and because of its supplemental value, Printing Industries of America is expecting to publish an updated version later this year.
This is the newest title in Printing Industries of America’s “samples” series; others include: Best Practices of the Best Workplaces in the Americas, 2006 and 2007 editions; Incentive, Bonus, and Recognition Programs in the Printing Industry; Sales Compensation and Incentive Plans; and Sample Union Contract Language Manual.
