Curriculum Ordering and Budgeting Pointers
Curriculum Ordering and Budgeting Pointers
Determine what items you need.
Review the program components, content, and sample pages by selecting the appropriate program here.
Training curriculum materials are available as kits or as individual items. Review kit pricing and individual item pricing here. Note the advantages of convenience and price savings for ordering items bundled as kits rather than individually.
For start-up programs, regardless of size, it is best to order some of each of the program components in order to have a complete training system, i.e., at least one of each: Instructor’s Kit, Trainee’s Kit, and Reference Library Kit.
When updating or expanding a training program or preparing for a new class, order an additional Trainee Kit for each new student as well as addition Reference Library Kits to accommodate larger classes. Also order any new editions of training manuals or reference books that have been published since your last order was placed.
Determine how many of each item you need.
The following recommendations are made for determining quantities:
- Order 1 Instructor’s Kit for each instructor/teacher.
- Order 1 Trainee’s Kit for each trainee/student.
- Order 1 Reference Library for every 3 to 5 trainees/students. Some trainers choose to order one kit for each class or shift to share, while some order one kit to keep at each press.
