Printing Industries of America Educator Membership Form
Membership to Printing Industries of America includes discounts on all workshops, conferences, bookstore items, process control products, and research, training, and consulting services. Members also benefit from a variety of free reports and services, including our technical hotline, plus they receive access to the National Buying Program, which includes discounts from companies like Adobe, Apple, and Xerox. Join approximately 350 educator colleagues that are already members.

PGSF
The Print and Graphics Scholarship Foundation (PGSF) is a not-for-profit, private, industry-directed organization that dispenses undergraduate college scholarships and graduate fellowship assistance to talented men and women interested in graphic communications careers. Its mission is “To strengthen the print and graphics industry by providing scholarship assistance.” Housed under the same roof as Printing Industries of America, PGSF has coordinated the industry’s largest scholarship program since its inception in 1956.

Job Bank
A great resource for students, the GAIN Job Bank is full of national job opportunities and is one of the only printing-industry specific resources of its kind. Employers can post jobs and browse résumés while job seekers can post their résumé and search for careers in over thirty-five skill sets. In addition, Printing Industries of America members are able to view and search, at no cost, the resumes of PGSF Scholarship winners.

Printing Industries Press
In addition to being the oldest publisher of graphic arts materials in the United States, Printing Industries Press also prints the widest selection of titles in the graphic arts industry. Browse over 200 items in their online store, including publications, PDFs, videos, and webinar archives, and you’re sure to find a host of valuable resources for yourself and your students.

Social Networking and Second Life
Printing Industries of America has profiles and groups on Facebook and LinkedIn. By joining these social networking sites, users can post comments or questions for discussion, find valuable industry links, get news and information, and connect with other group members. In addition, Printing Industries of America, along with other graphic communications related organizations, has a virtual headquarters in Second Life, an Internet-based virtual world. Our presence in this “metaverse” is another way to connect students and educators from around the world and serves as a supplemental method for attracting new interest to the industry.

Job Descriptions (Members Only)
Student and education members of the Printing Industries of America have access to job descriptions for over 50 different positions, spanning the gamut of employment opportunities. The descriptions allow you to see the responsibilities, skills/knowledge, education, and experience needed for each position.
